Kreate Oy – Emäjoki bridge

Steel Group Pohjanmaa delivered and installed a steel bridge over Emäjoki in the center of Suomussalmi. The new bridge is a steel bridge intended for pedestrian traffic, with a total length of 60 meters, a span of 48 meters and a useful width of 4,6 meters.

The bridge was delivered from our workshop in Oulu as two separate bridge blocks and it was welded onto the bed into one unit. the bridge structure weighing around 50 tons was lifted into place in April 2023 with one lift.
